"Un train qui part" (English translation: "A departing train") was the Monegasque entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 1973, performed in French by French singer Marie. The song is about people striking out on their own. Marie sings about a girl from rural France who is boarding a train to Paris in the hope that she will find work there, despite not knowing exactly what she will do. The departing train, she sings, ''"is a bit like a home...For one who has never known home"''. The song was performed sixth on the night, following Norway's Bendik Singers with "It's Just A Game" and preceding Spain's Mocedades with "Eres tú". At the close of voting, it had received 85 points, placing it eighth in a field of 17. It was succeeded as Monegasque representative at the 1974 Contest by Romuald with "Celui qui reste et celui qui s'en va". ==Sources and external links== * (Official Eurovision Song Contest site, history by year, 1973 ) * (Detailed info and lyrics, The Diggiloo Thrush, "Un train qui part". ) 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Un train qui part」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
